Another Day

Another day, another Sunday. I now reminisce about what I have been doing so far in this past week. From the heatwave weather to the cool and cloudy, what is it that's making my eyes all itchy in 5th period? Who knows.

You guys may know by now that I'm a senior in high school, starting on her loathsome college applications. ....JUST KIDDING! I just finished on Thursday, waiting for the next step, playing the good ol' waiting game. Speaking of waiting, politics is in the air. Two candidates debating it out whilst leaving the poor moderator in the corner. School tuition and education may be the deciding factor in the election. You know how crazy students would go if tuition costs increases, right? Like a raging mob of foaming Tasmanian devils! Better yet, leave the foam-out-of-mouth out--for now.

Other than talking about the raging issue of tuition costs, what about the weather?

The view from my room, yes those paper bags are covering our guava. Makes them huge!
Last week, temperatures went up all the way to the 100's putting everyone alike into an uncomfortable position. Mother Nature, why the sudden heatwave? BUT! Luckily the forecast for this week will "feel like Fall." Please, let the cold weather come in quickly.

Making Gyudon (牛丼)

Hello! I'm back after more than half a year! I've been quite busy as the new school has started and the things I've done over the summer was too much for me to type out onto this blog. My interest in gyaru fashion has dwindled down as time had progressed, making me more focused in school and my studies. Anyhow, I made gyudon two days ago and I would like to share!

I tweaked the recipe I got from little japan mama because when I followed it, it had a lot of excess beef juice and a little bit overwhelming. Through trial and error the first time, I was able to reduce the fat that comes from the beef.
